October 17 @ 09:00 – October 19 @ 17:00
This is Derek Witchell’s first time exhibiting as part of Thame Art Crawl. Educated at Lord Williams’s School, Derek has lived off and on in Thame since 1961. He trained as an architect and practiced in the town as a ‘one-men-band’ for 30 years. After ordination as a priest in the Church of England, he was Vicar of Wing, wingrave, Aston Abbots, Cublington, and Mentmore in Bucks. Since retiring from parish ministry he is trying to spend more time painting, favouring oils. His first exhibition was last year in Thame. He is inspired by the interplay of colours and light.
